King's advisor meets French military official
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra) - His Majesty's Advisor for Military Affairs and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mashal Mohammad Zaben, on Monday received the French Army Chief of Staff, General Pierre de Villiers, and the accompanying delegation.
At the meeting, which was attended by HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, the two military officials discussed the scope of cooperation and coordination in military areas as well as ways to boost relations between the two countries' armies.
The French official praised the advanced level the Jordan Armed Forces have reached.
General Villiers bestowed the French Legion of Honour medal, presented by the French President, upon General Zaben.
