Qatar- Al Attiyah meets Asean ambassadors

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The ambassadors of Asean countries in Doha paid a courtesy visit to the Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah.

An Asean Committee in Doha (ACD) has been formed and its team was led by Indonesian Ambassador Deddy Saiful Hadi, Chairman, ACD 2015.

Deddy introduced to the Minister new Asean ambassadors Piroon Laismit (Thailand) and Nguyen Hoang (Vietnam).

He said 2015 is a "milestone year" with the beginning of the implementation of the Asean Community in which 10 countries will represent an integrated region where the movement of goods, services, capital and people will be freer and more flexible.
