Hughes Drilling lands overburden drilling contract from Glencore
Hughes Drilling (ASX:HDX) has entered into a three year contract to provide overburden drilling services to Glencore’s Collinsville Coal Mine in the Bowen Basin Queensland.
This includes two one-year extension options.
The company will operate two of its existing REICHdrill drill rigs to meet the requirements of Collinsville Coal Mine.
The new contract compliments additional business that the company has been awarded in the region.
Glencore is one of the world’s largest diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of over 90 commodities world wide. It has interest in over 30 open cut and underground coal mines in Australia South Africa and Columbia.
