OIC Chief to Visit Palestine Sunday
(MENAFN- QNA) Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani will visit Palestine on Sunday for talks with President Mahmoud Abbas, OIC said in a statement.
During the two-day visit, Madani will also visit the Aqsa Mosque.
According to the OIC statement, Madani will discuss with Abbas the latest developments following the UNSC's rejection of a draft resolution seeking an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
Talks will also address topics of bilateral cooperation and how the OIC can support Palestinians to obtain their rights and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as a capital.
