Kuwait- Interior Mininstry bent on seizing unlicensed weapons, ammunition

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Interior Ministry has stressed that security men are constantly exerting their efforts to seize unlicensed weapons and ammunition. The ministry's Security Media Department (SMD) said in a statement here on Saturday that the ministry is monitoring fireworks used at wedding parties, camping areas and other occasions.

The ministry will never hesitate to enforce the law on everyone who holds unlicensed weapons, or ammunition or jeopardizes the country's facilities and public and private properties, it pointed out.

The SMD appealed to all picnickers in the desert and camping locations not to use weapons either for hunting or for any other activities for the safety of people, the statement said, noting that people who violate the regulations will be turned over to security authorities.
