(MENAFN- QNA) The Sultanate of Oman condemned today the terrorist attack which targeted a children school in Peshawar city of Pakistan.
"The government of the Sultanate of Oman condemns today the terrorist attack carried out by Taliban Pakistan Movement which targeted a children school in Peshawar City in the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, resulting in the death an injury of many innocent teachers and school children", Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by Oman news agency (ONA).
The Omani government affirms it stand beside the government and the people of the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its support for the efforts made to combat terrorism to maintain peace and security in this friendly country and the region as well, the statement added.
