Kuwait lifts ban on cattle imports from Texas
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait's Public Authority of Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAF) on Wednesday lifted a ban on cattle and horses imports from Texas, the US.
The decision stipulates that all imports will be examined by the Authority in line with the relevant World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) requirements, said PAAF Chairperson and Director General Nabila Al-Khalil.
She noted that the PAAF step was based on reports that Texas is now free from ulcerative stomatitis.
Today's decision revokes a ban imposed last July.
