(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Venezuela has indicted hardline opposition leader Maria Corina Machado for participating in an alleged plot to kill President Nicolas Maduro, the state prosecutor's office said in a statement on Wednesday, Reuters reported.
Machado, who led major street protest against Maduro at the beginning of the year, has dismissed the accusations as a charade designed to silence her and distract Venezuelans from a growing economic crisis.
