Oman LNG donates truck to Al Rahma Charity


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman LNG has donated a truck to Al Rahma Charity Team to support its activities.

A press release stated that the truck will be used to carry goods in different parts of the country and assist the charity in its various activities.'It will be used to supply goods to the needy in remote areas.'

The Al Rahma Charity Team was established in 2005 in the wilayat of Seeb and has over 4000 volunteers across the sultanate. This has enabled the team to offer its services in 50 wilayats. The charity team is part of the Social Development Committee of the Wali of Seeb.

The release said that with its involvement in the nation's social development Oman LNG's social investment programme has raised the bar on how responsible companies can engage with the wider society they operate. Its social responsibility programme is being seen as a template for other organisations it stated.
