Jordan, Japan discuss economic relations


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  Minister of Finance Umayya Toukan and Japanese Ambassador Shunichi Sakurai, on Monday, discussed ways to expand economic relations between the two countries.

Both sides discussed grants provided to the Kingdom and the national economic reform program funded by the International Monetary Fund.

Toukan briefed the Ambassador about the additional burdens on the state's budget due to the influx of the Syrian refugees, interruption of Egyptian gas and the regional situation, and its impact on the investment environment.
