Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Meets UN official
(MENAFN- QNA) Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa Al Araji met here today with Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq George Posten.
The United Nations have a significant role in supporting the Iraqi democratic experiment, Al Araj said adding that we aspire to get a lot from the United Nations and we will work together to render services to the Iraqi people For his part, Posten stressed that the international community and the UN stand ready to provide assistance to Iraq , saying that we see for the first time that the Iraqi government has done a tangible act .
