Construction Materials, Goods, Aids, Industrial fuel Enter Gaza


(MENAFN- QNA) The Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of Gaza's Supplies Raed Fattouh said that Israeli occupation authorities opened the Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing Tuesday morning to allow entry of trucks loaded with construction materials, goods, aids and Industrial fuel for Gaza power plant.

Fattouh told Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israel allowed the entry of nearly 400 trucks loaded with aids and goods for commercial, agricultural and transport sectors, six trucks loaded with cement and construction iron for UNRWA projects and 100 trucks loaded with gravel for road infrastructure were allowed to enter the Strip.

Limited quantities of fuel for Gaza power plant and transport sector in addition to cooking gas were also allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.
The Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter into the Gaza Strip.
