Clashes Erupts Between Yemeni Army and Militants in East Yemen
(MENAFN- QNA) Violent clashes broke out between the army and tribal militants in the Eastern Yemeni Province of Ma'rib.
A Yemeni military source said in a press release that tribal armed militants tried to seize equipment from Ma'rib power station in Wadi Obeida area, but army troops assigned to protect them, vigorously repulsed them and foiled their attempt.
The source confirmed that militants who attempted to seize equipment which were on their way from Ma'rib to Safir area, adding that violent clashes broke out between the militants and the army which brought the situation under control and safely delivered the equipment.
