Kerry Saeb Erekat to Meet in Washington

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington November 01 (QNA) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is slated to meet Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat at the State Department on Monday.



At a press briefing in Washington on Friday State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said a Palestinian delegation would arrive at the US capital for high-level talks on ways to move forward with the stalled peace talks and the ongoing crisis in Gaza.



The meeting will also focus on the uptick in violence in Jerusalem following rising tensions and a number of deaths in the city which has for weeks been the scene of daily clashes between security forces and Palestinians. (QNA)
