(MENAFN- AFP) French President Francois Hollande said Friday that the crisis-hit country was not carrying out reforms to please Brussels, but for the benefit of France.
"We are not doing reforms to please" but "because it is in our interest", Hollande said, as the country faces a showdown with the EU over its budget deficit.
