(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar's basketball national team overcome Mongolia on Monday 87-78 in the 5th-8th places play-offs at the Asian Games' men basketball competition.
The Qatari team missed out on a place in the semifinals after losing yesterday to South Korea.
Meanwhile, gold medal holders China will fail to claim a medal for the first time since 1970 after crashing to 75-67 defeat by Iran. The Chinese reached the final in the last nine editions, winning gold in seven occasions.
