Shell Oman introduces motor oil developed from natural gas

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Shell Oman on Monday launched its next generation motor oil Shell Helix Ultra with Shell PurePlus Technology featuring base oil developed from natural gas.

Addressing a gathering Adil Ismail al Raisi managing director at Shell Oman talked about how the company is pioneering an entirely new way to produce premium motor oils through a revolutionary gas-to-liquid (GTL) process to design pure synthetic base oil which delivers higher levels of cleansing and protection.

Raisi said 'We are committed to bringing the best in premium synthetic motor oils to our customers in Oman and I'm really glad that we will enable the car owners to use this new advanced motor oil.' In hot climates oil is prone to exceed its normal operating temperature. As a premium synthetic oil it is less prone to thinning at high temperatures he said
