HE Foreign Minister Assistant Meets UN Official
(MENAFN- QNA) HE Foreign Minister's Assistant for International Cooperation Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met here Sunday with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid bin Ra'ad.
HE the Minister's Assistant congratulated Ra'ad on his new post, wishing him success.
They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them. HE the Minister's Assistant expressed the State of Qatar's readiness to provide support to all UN human rights agencies to promote the rights and freedoms across the globe.
For his part, the commissioner praised the role the State of Qatar plays in supporting the work of the agency to continue its success in promoting human rights worldwide.
