1,200 Omanis covered in third NCSI Consumer Confidence Survey


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As many as 1200 Omanis were covered in the third Consumer Confidence Survey by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) which concluded on Wednesday.

Respondents were asked questions relating to financial and economic outlook standard of living expenditure and investment opportunities national economy employment payrolls and prices of goods and services.

Sawsan al Lawati director of the technical office of National Population Committee at NCSI said 'I would like to thank the citizens for their cooperation with NCSI representatives which reflected in the success of the survey and the collection of required data within the scheduled period of time. The NCSI survey team demonstrated high levels of proficiency as it underwent training sessions prior to the survey.'

NCSI aims to provide official data to be used by researchers economists statisticians and decision makers based on scientific research methods. The first survey was conducted in March and the second took place in June
