UAE, Georgia discuss regional, int'l developments
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan met Tuesday with visiting Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, local media reported.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed current updates on regional and international arenas, as well as ways to bolster UAE-Georgian ties to attain bilateral joint interests, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
They have also exchanged points of view on a number of joint interest issues, said WAM, adding that the meeting also addressed current cooperation and coordination aspects between both countries' institutions and authorities.
The meeting also stressed importance of developing bilateral cooperation in economic, investment, and commercial areas, as well as coordination in social, educational, and developmental fields, it noted.
Following the meeting, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed held a luncheon in honor of the visiting Georgian Premier and his accompanied delegation. It was attended by a number of officials from both countries.
