TNT Express supports Angel Appeal this Ramadan
(MENAFNEditorial) TNT Express Middle East is delighted to again extend its support to The Mission to Seafarers in Dubai.
The Angel Appeal, a project by The Mission to Seafarers, works with seafarers who find themselves in distress; offering emergency assistance and practical support in the ports and anchorages of the UAE since 1962. This is the second year that TNT Express will contribute to the welfare of the seafarers during this most special and spiritual time of the year.
This Ramadan, TNT Express in partnership with The Angel Appeal distributed over 1500 hampers consisting of non-perishable food essentials to seafarers across various ports in Dubai on the 25th and 26th of July.
"Initiatives like these have led to TNT Express being recognised with the CSR label for the third consecutive year by Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry", comments Mark Pell, Managing Director – Middle East & Africa.
"Actions like these are also a source of great pride for our employees and reflect our commitment towards the local community", adds Pell.
