Iraqi President Meets French Foreign Minister
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Baghdad August 11 (QNA) - Iraqi President Fuad Masum met Sunday with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius who is currently visiting Baghdad. A statement from the Iraqi presidency said that the two parties discussed security and political developments in Iraq. They focused in particular on the formation of the new government conditions of refugees and the terrorist threat posed by militant group (ISIS). Fabius expressed the French administration's backing of Iraq in its fight against terrorism. He added that his country looks forward for political Iraqi parties to succeed in forming a national unity government. (QNA)
