Two Gaza rockets land in sea off northern city of Haifa: media

(MENAFN- Arab News) JERUSALEM: Two long-range rockets fired by militants in Gaza crashed into the sea off the northern port city of Haifa on Wednesday Israeli media reported.

Haifa lies 165 kilometers (102 miles) north of the Gaza Strip where Israel has been waging a major air campaign against militants from the Islamist Hamas movement.

If confirmed it would be the furthest a rocket fired from Gaza has ever traveled.
