on thursday morning 10 students from the snf centre — 5 boys and 5 girls (of the total 38 students enrolled at the institute) — were present at the eastern frond of the palm where the resort is located posing beside the wishing fountain for the “bon voyage” ceremony. the coins collected from the fountain will be donated to snf a charity nadine says is very close to her heart. the couple chose snf because “it’s an organisation that needs help and isn’t really supported by any major financial institutions.”

safia bari director of snf says of the hotelier-biker couple: “they’ve adopted us. we’re very happy to be here and for the students to have this opportunity.”

one of the boy students muneeb shakawat was especially thrilled when jean-francois gave him a ride on the bike.

“another couple friends of ours will be joining us from france and together we set off on our road trip today” said jean-francois. he says of the 21-day road trip: “this will be the longest trip we would have ever done both time and distance wise.” and all proceeds raised from this journey will go to aid the needs of the special children.
