China Southern Airlines purchase 80 Airbus aircrafts
(MENAFN) According to Airbus China, China Southern Airlines has signed a contract with the aircraft manufacturer for the purchase of 80 A320 planes, QNA reported.
The order includes 30 of the A320 model planes, with price between USD85.8 million and USD110.1 million each, and 50 of the more energy-efficient A320Neo model, with price between USD94.4million and USD120 million, Airbus China said.
The deal is projected to increase the airlines' transportation capacity by 12.1 percent and help optimize its fleet structures, according to China Southern Airlines.
According to China's (Xinhua) News Agency, the planes will be delivered to China Southern Airlines through 2016-2020.
