(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUNA Board Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah met a visiting Qatari media delegation here on Sunday.
Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Media Corporation Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani and his accompanying delegation are here to participate in the 11th edition of Arab Media Forum.
The meeting tackled many issues concerning media in the Arab world and discussed means of promoting cooperation among the different Arab media institutions.
In addition, the meeting underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration between KUNA and Qatar Media Corporation in terms of exchanging expertise and holding training courses.
Sheikh Mubarak urged for unifying visions and perspectives among Arab media institutions to stand up against foreign media that attempt to ruin the image of Arabs and Muslims.
The meeting was attended by KUNA Deputy Director-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs Abdulhamid Malak.
