(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A patient who was admitted to al qasimi hospital where he had surgery to remove a brain tumour jumped from his fourth-floor room on wednesday evening.
he suffered serious injuries in the fall and is battling for life.
sources said the 28-year-old bangladeshi patient had brain surgery at the hospital 15 days ago. he is in a critical condition and has several fractures and bleeding in the brain though he fell on a mount of sand on a nearby construction site.
dr arif al nooryani ceo of al qasimi hospital said the patient may have been suffering from hallucinations due to surgery. he is currently in intensive care and under observation. police are probing the case.
