(MENAFN- Arab News) Riyadh: punjab lions and seham emerged as champions of the saib easypay twenty20 cricket tournament from huraymala and riyadh zones respectively in the saudi investment bank-sponsored tourney organized by the riyadh cricket association.

in huraymala zone punjab lions scored a thrilling five-run win over pakistan falcons by 5 runs.

punjab lions took strike first and posted 233 for 7. usman looked in great touch and scored 122. other notable contributions came from usman tiwana (30) and waseem (26). hamza tilla and matiullah bagged 2 wickets each.

pakistan falcons fought hard but fell short. hamza abbasi was the highest scorer with 74 runs. matiullah (52) abid (45) and tilla (28) were the other run getters. asmat and ahmed picked two wickets each.

in the riyadh zone seham got better of tbcc by 21 runs. seham used the wicket first and put up 160 runs. amir (36) ali (31) and tanweer (28) were the main contributors. aneesh picked 4 wickets.

tbcc in reply were all out for 139 runs. shareef (29) and tansal (26) did their best. majid and amjad picked 3 wickets. tahir and tanweer picked 2 each.
