(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Pakistani embassy yesterday celebrated the 74th National Day of Pakistan
A large number of Pakistanis, including men, women, elderly and children, took part in celebrations
The ceremony started with Malik Muhammad Farooq, Charge d'Affaires, hoisting Pakistan's flag, followed by national anthem.
Farooq said Pakistani in Qatar will be provided with all facilities at the embassy. Highlighting the significance of the day, he said Pakistanis will overcome challenges in their country, including terrorism and militancy.
He read out messages of the President and the Prime Minister who conveyed greetings to Pakistanis in other countries and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue on the course of democracy, development and principles laid by Father of the Nation Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah
