World Bank to provide Benin with USD85m fund

(MENAFN) The World bank is to provide Benin with USD85 million to fund three development projects, Xinhua reported
A statement by the World Bank said: "The money will enable local councils to provide essential services, improve the business environment and facilitate youths to access employment.
The first disbursement of USD30 million will go to fund the decentralization program by the local councils
"The additional resources will be used for the construction of schools to host about 90,000 pupils and enable about 18,000 people to have access to clean drinking water," the statement added
