(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The Qatar Exchange ended in the green area when trading closed Sunday at 10,325.72 points (0.42%) up 72.40 points from the previous closing of 10,283.00 points on Thursday. The volume of shares was up to 17,811,755 from Thursday's 18,436,130 and the value of shares increased to QR 627,257,570.22 from QR 545,943,939.31 on Thursday Among the top gainers were Doha Insurance whose share up 1.19% to QR 25.50, United Dev Company whose share added 1.23% to QR 23.89, Industries Qatar gained 1.32% to QR 169.00 and National Leasing increased by 0.65% to QR 31.20 The Banking and Financial sector index was down 0.04% points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.52% points The industrial sector was added 1.15% points while insurance sector raised 0.15% points
