Oman's Bahwan Travel inks pact with Sabre on tech access

Bahrain-based travel technology company Sabre Travel Network Middle East (Sabre) has signed a five-year agreement with Bahwan Travel Group on Monday. The agreement allows Bahwan Travel Group to access the latest technology solutions to accelerate its growth in Oman's online travel sector.
Solutions include online booking engine, real-time data analysis tools, and tools that automate ticketing, refunds and exchanges, as well as those related to mid-office. Daniel Naoumovitch, CEO, Sabre Travel Network Middle East, said that Bahwan Travel Group has a strong vision for growth.
''Bahwan sees technology playing a key role in this; the expectations of travellers rise as technology improves. We are very excited about leveraging on the improvements in technology to provide innovative products that help unlock new opportunities to provide customer value,'' he said.
He said that Oman is evolving into one of the most popular travel destinations in the region, with large influx of business and leisure travellers every year. ''With a strong partnership with Bahwan Travels, we look forward to servicing this fast-growing travel industry.''
