Kerry, Lavrov, Ban to Hold Tripartite Meeting on Syria in New York

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) A tripartite meeting on Syria between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, US Secretary of State John Kerry and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be held on the sidelines of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department Marie Harf told Russian news agency (Itar-Tass) at a news briefing for foreign journalists in Washington that the exact date of the meeting is not determined yet. The U.N. general secretary has earlier named September 28 as a possible date for the meeting.
