Saudi- SCC appoints new board member
(MENAFN- Arab News) Saudi Cable Company (SCC) has announced the appointment of Abdullah M. Noor Rehaimi as a member of the company's board of directors, according to Tadawul website. Rehaimi is an independent member with effect from Wednesday to the current term of the board, which ends on Sept. 2, 2014. He replaces Waheeb A. Linjawi who has resigned.
The appointment of the new member will be placed before the shareholders' general assembly at its next meeting for approval as per the regulations.
Rehaimi has worked with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund for over 25 years during which he rose to the position of deputy general manager of the fund before the issue of a royal decree appointing him as the president of the Civil Aviation Authority. Besides, he is a member of the board of directors of a number of companies, prominent among them being the National Commercial Bank.
