Kuwait Stock Exchange on Red Board


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency)  Kuwait Stock Exchange took on a red board in the first trading day this week and first trading day in September with the weighted index reaching 449.16 points on a loss of 2.21 points and the price index reaching 7,623.06 points on a down of 9.51 points. The KSX 15 meanwhile came to 1,040.64 points, a slip of 9 points. Trades came to 4,991 deals worth KD 21,144,083.8 and volume came to 285,811,977 shares. Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said as for sector performance, consumer goods and healthcare were the only two indices in green by closing, and utilities and investment instruments showed no change, while the remaining sectors all showed red indices. Top gainer share for the day was (RKWC), top volume share (MAYADEEN), and biggest loser was the (BIIHC).
