Centrica returns cash to its shareholders
(MENAFN) Centrica, British Gas owner, launched a program after quitting the plan of investing in new nuclear plants in the UK and plans to return cash to its investors, according to The Telegraph.
However, it will start another project again by the following year as the UK power-project investments fell and the earnings of the assets in North America.
Sam Laidlaw, Centrica chief executive, said: "We have got the headroom but we haven"t made any firm decisions," assuring that shareholders will be receiving cash continuously while British Gas rises bills.
