UAE- RTA launches ration drive

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) As part of its community services, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched it 'Ramadan Ration' and 'Charity Bus' campaign to lend support to the needy families in Dubai, and aid the humanitarian cases registered with the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children. The drive focuses on collecting foodstuffs and domestic requirements for distribution to those families during the holy month. "The Ramadan campaign offers us a splendid opportunity to serve the needs of a wide range of needy families registered with the foundation in an effort to bring happiness to their faces and souls through supplying them with basic food items such as sugar, rice, flour, milk, juice, dates, canned items, and oil as well as providing them with general household cleaning products and children's accessories," said Dr Aysha Al Busmait, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication.
