Kuwait- Indian detained for stealing his passport, escaping from 'kafil

(MENAFN- Arab Times) Securitymen have arrested and Indian expatriate, who is believed to be in his 30s, for allegedly stealing his passport and escaping from his sponsor, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. The suspect was arrested in Khaitan by the Farwaniya police during routine security check. According to security sources, the man tried to escape when he saw a police patrol. The daily added when the police officer asked the man to show his ID, he pretended as if he did not understand anything. He has been handed over to the concerned authority.
