USD400m Trump Towers Istanbul opened
(MENAFN) US real estate tycoon Donald Trump inaugurated Trump Towers Istanbul, and said he will partner Turkish owner and billionaire businessman Aydin Dogan in more real estate in the city, Bloomberg reported.
The towers, a USD400 million twin-tower complex each about 150 meters tall in the central Mecidiyekoy district, and include 204 apartments and 43,000 square meters of offices and stores.
In a joint statement, Trump and Dogan said that about 75 percent of residences at Trump Towers have been sold at prices ranging from USD600,000 to USD6 million. All of the larger residences have been sold off, they added.
Trump, who is also Chairman and President of Trump Hotel Collection, unveiled plans to invest in hotels in Turkey "as soon as possible".
