After losing the first T20I of the Nidahas Trophy to hosts Sri Lanka, Rohit Sharma led India bounced back in style to thrash Bangladesh by 6 wickets in the second T20I.

The victory means India have kept their 100% win-record intact against Bangladesh in T20Is, winning all the 6 encounters.

Rohit Sharma, who won the toss, decided to go with an unchanged side and opted to bowl first.

India got off to a great start with Unadkat dismissing Soumya Sarkar in the 3rd over followed by Shardul Thakur dismissing the dangerous Tamim Iqbal, leaving the Tigers at 35/2.

However, Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das steadied the ship for Bangladesh.

Vijay Shankar, however, couldn't be denied wickets for too long.

The all-rounder struck twice to send Mushfiqur Rahim and captain Mahmudullah back to the dressing room.

But Sabbir Rahman ensured that the scoreboard kept ticking before Unadkat finally got him and made light work of the tail end.

Bangladesh scraped to 139/8 and India were up for the challenge.

However, with in-form Shikhar Dhawan at the crease along with T20 specialist Suresh Raina, no target seems too big.

The left-hand duo sent the bowlers on a leather hunt and taking India to a comfortable 6 wicket victory over their neighbours.

Dhawan scored 55 while Raina pitched in with his 28-run knock.
