German Chancellor to award outspoken critic cabinet role
(MENAFN) German Chancellor Angela Merkel was revealed to have awarded a key critic with a membership in her party's cabinet.
Saxony state leader Michael Kretschmer of Merkel's Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party confirmed the Chancellor to be presenting the position of health minister to Jens Spahn.
He declared "it's a good sign because he is a dedicated politician who has shown for years that he is acting in the interests of this country."
Kretschmer, from the right wing of CDU, confirmed "he will certainly be a good health minister."
