Jordanian Labour Minister receives UAE Ambassador

AMMAN, 2nd October, 2017 (WAM) -- Ali Al Ghazawi, the Jordanian Minister of Labour, has received Mattar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, where they discussed developing cooperation, investment opportunities, agreements signed between the two sides, technical cooperation, and benefiting from experiences in the labour sector between the two countries.
The Jordanian Minister reviewed the general situation of the Jordanian labour market and the efforts exerted by the Ministry in the field of training, employment and orientation towards vocational training, in order to serve local cadres and provide Arab markets with qualified and trained competencies.
The UAE Ambassador reiterated UAE's keenness to support the labour sector in Jordan and to fully cooperate in various issues of mutual interest. He also stressed that the UAE is one of the biggest country hosting Jordanian workers, which reflects the distinguished relations between the two countries at all levels.
