Türkiye, Estonia Seek Deeper Bilateral Cooperation
(MENAFN) Türkiye and Estonia have explored opportunities to expand their bilateral ties and strengthen cooperation during talks between Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and Türkiye’s newly appointed ambassador to Estonia, Yonca Ozceri, according to reports Tuesday.
"Against this backdrop, it was a pleasure to meet today with Türkiye’s new Ambassador to Estonia, Yonca Ozceri, to discuss how we can further strengthen the friendship and deepen cooperation between our countries," Tsahkna said in a post on X.
The Estonian foreign minister also highlighted Türkiye’s contribution to regional security, noting that the Turkish Air Force is helping protect the Baltic states through operations based at Estonia’s Amari Air Base.
Tsahkna added that the two countries recently commemorated the 35th anniversary of the restoration of their diplomatic relations, marking a longstanding foundation for continued engagement.
