Bengaluru-Based wudhomes Raises ₹2.5 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding Led by AJVC
(MENAFN- PRandit Solutions Pvt Ltd.) National, 13th October, 2026: wudhomes, a Bengaluru-based home-furnishing startup founded by Vasu Arneja and Aditya Singh, has raised ₹2.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, founded by Aviral Bhatnagar. Seekho co-founders Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal, and Yash Banwani also participated, along with other angel investors.
The company will use the funds to build a vertically integrated supply chain, develop in-house technology, strengthen its retail experience and build the operational capabilities needed to connect different stages of the home-furnishing journey.
For consumers, creating a home often begins with inspiration drawn from social media, design platforms, showrooms or recommendations. Translating these ideas into a cohesive living space, however, involves more than finding individual products. Consumers must determine what works within their available space, identify pieces that complement one another, balance design preferences with budgets, evaluate alternatives and coordinate purchases and delivery. These decisions often span multiple platforms, retailers, designers and vendors, leaving customers to connect the different elements themselves.
wudhomes is building its business around this gap between imagining a home and bringing it to life. Its approach focuses on connecting inspiration, product discovery, curation, personalisation and fulfilment, helping customers navigate the decisions involved in furnishing a space rather than approaching each purchase as a separate transaction.
Furniture is the company's starting category, with its broader ambition centred on the overall home-furnishing process. The company is developing an integrated model that brings together digital inspiration, personalised product curation, spatial visualisation, physical retail, home visits and a vertically integrated supply chain. These elements are intended to work together to help customers translate their ideas into cohesive spaces, make informed design and product decisions, and move seamlessly from inspiration to fulfilment.
In recent months, wudhomes has furnished over 200 homes. It has also opened a retail outlet on Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru and introduced a home-visit service through which consultants assess customers' spaces and help them explore suitable furnishing options. The company views these customer touchpoints as part of a broader model that connects product discovery and decision-making with the process of furnishing a home.
“We believe there is an opportunity to build a much larger business around home furnishing than traditional retail has allowed for. Today, customers have to navigate multiple platforms, stores and vendors to bring their homes together. At wudhomes, we're building a model that brings together inspiration, design, technology, physical retail and an integrated supply chain into one connected journey, with the potential to change how the category works and how it scales,” said Vasu Arneja, Co-founder, wudhomes.
Commenting on the investment, Aviral Bhatnagar of AJVC said, “wudhomes is approaching home furnishing as an end-to-end customer experience rather than just a product category. By bringing together digital discovery, curation and visualisation with physical retail and home visits, the team is addressing the gap between finding inspiration and actually creating a home. We believe this integrated model has the potential to build a differentiated business in a large, underserved market.”
Also, Aditya Singh, Co-founder, wudhomes added, “There's a significant gap between knowing how you want your home to look and actually making it happen. We want wudhomes to bridge that gap, helping customers move from inspiration and design choices to products that fit their spaces and are delivered to their homes. Building the technology and operational capabilities behind this journey is central to how we see the business evolving.”
The pre-seed funding will support the development of the technology, supply-chain and operational infrastructure needed to connect these stages. Over time, wudhomes aims to expand its role beyond furniture to address more of the decisions and requirements involved in furnishing a home. The company has not disclosed its valuation, revenue or expansion timeline.
