Bjørn-Oliver Magsig is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean (International) at the Faculty of Law, Victoria University of Wellington, where he teaches and researches climate change law and public international law. His work asks how states can move beyond narrow self-interest to share responsibility for the planet's most pressing environmental challenges, exploring pathways towards cooperative sovereignty in a destabilising global order.
