Türkiye Sees 31 Percent Surge in Defense Exports
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s defense and aviation industry exports soared 31% year-on-year in the first 10 months of 2025, reaching $6.7 billion, the head of the country’s Defense Industries Secretariat announced on Tuesday.
Haluk Gorgun noted on Turkish social media platform NSosyal that the sector’s share of Türkiye’s total exports has risen to 3.5%.
He said: "This sustained export success in our sector is the result of the defense industry cooperation activities we carry out around the world.
"We continue these efforts with unflagging determination."
Overall, Türkiye’s exports during the first 10 months of the year totaled $224.6 billion, marking a 3.9% increase compared with the same period last year.
