Dutch embassy, agricultural research centre explore cooperation
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug 31 (Petra) -- A Dutch Embassy delegation and the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) Tuesday held a meeting for a discussion on agriculture cooperation.
The NARC Director-General Nizar Haddad briefed the delegation about the Centre's achievements, not least of which are in the areas of aquaculture, sustainable agriculture and capacity building, according to an NARC statement.
Haddad expressed his "pride" of the NARC and Norway partnership on capacity building to further science research in agriculture.
In part, the delegation highlighted the reputed NARC, mostly in the scientific research in agriculture, noting his country's keenness to support these efforts and emphasising the importance of 'smart" solutions that would advance agriculture .
