Blaze kills four people in New Delhi


(MENAFN)A local fire department official stated that a blaze has killed four people in India's capital New Delhi on Tuesday night.

According to Atul Garg, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) chief, the accident happened in the capital's eastern Shahdara area after a cooking gas cylinder explosion.

Garg added "Four people died and another person sustained burn injuries in a fire that erupted following a cylinder blast at a house in Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara last night.”

Also, he said that nine firefighters hurried to the location. And, the blaze was controlled and five people were rescued from the fire and sent to hospital, but four was killed.
