Hajj e-portal begins its second phase


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Makkah, June 25, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that the electronic screening process for applicants started today through the domestic pilgrims'' path portal for the Hajj season of this year.
Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdel Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, said the sorting out process was divided into several different categories, as the first category of those who met the conditions for performing Hajj today received text messages to enter the ministry's electronic portal and complete the registration process, adding that these messages are counted final approval only after completing the requirements and as per the available places.
The Ministry, earlier, has facilitated the registration steps for Hajj permits issuance, which includes logging into the electronic portal, verifying the applicant's data, the ability to add companions provided that they are previously registered in the electronic path of Hajj this year, in addition to reviewing and booking the available packages, and the confirmation of having read the terms and conditions and issuing the reservation invoice after paying it electronically, and finally the issuance of the Hajj permit.
