Qatar-Sri Lanka joint panel on regulation of manpower meets
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Qatar-Sri Lanka Joint Committee, represented by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs and the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met yesterday regarding the Agreement concerning the Regulation of Sri Lankan Manpower Employment in the State of Qatar, held via video communication technology.
The Qatari side was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Mohammed Hassan Al Obaidly, and the Sri Lankan side was headed by Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka HE Mohamed Mafaz Mohideen.
During the committee’s meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the field of labor recruitment in the State of Qatar, in addition to following up on the agenda and workflow procedures between the two sides.
